Embroidery workshop | Plants pattern
A new workshop as part of Craft Victoria's Craft Cubed festival for 2019.
Come along and learn a new creative skill, make some friends and enjoy afternoon tea + wine in the Brunswick studio.
Together we will work on an original embroidery pattern by Belinda Marshall featuring 3 plants.
You'll learn a collection of basic embroidery stitches and techniques to outline and fill the design.
We will work with beautiful quality materials to make a small artwork which may be finished on the day or taken home to finish.
Be inspired by the process of working with your hands and calmed by the meditative nature of this modern take on an old craft.
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
Digitally printed fabric pattern, an embroidery hoop, an embroidery needle, a set of DMC threads, afternoon tea and wine.
Saturday August 24th 1.30 - 3.30pm
