Story of ‘Love, Myrtle’.
This piece was inspired by a visit to Myrtle Mountain many years ago – the view was spectacular both up close and in the distance.

One tree in the foreground seemed to reach across the entire landscape, which was vast. The surrounding trees were in sync with their reach, creating a soothing flow of movement.

From the point we were standing we could see all the way across the valley to the other side of the mountain and on to the flat land in the far distance.

My focus was on a very zoomed out spot {a tiny detail in my captured images} where the mountain range in the background doubled as a kind of sky – everything felt calm, contained and transportive.
